ESP Settings for ICM

ESP for Windows and ESP for Outlook are available for download to authorized departmental representatives through the Entrust Enterprise Licence agreement managed by ICM. To find out who is authorized to download software in your organization, contact ICM at gji-icm@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.

To ensure that these products work with the ICM service, their configurations will need to be customized with ICM specific settings. To assist you in customizing ESP for Windows 9.1; ESP for Outlook 9.1 and ESP for Windows 9.2 to work with both ICM's Client Acceptance Testing Environment (CATE) and production Government Shared Services (GSS) Certificate Authority (CA), the following configuration transform files (.mst) are provided. These transform files have been customized by ICM and can be used in conjunction with the product "setup", to ensure basic connectivity to ICM's production and test environments.

To use these .mst files, store them in the appropriate setup folder and then modify the "setup.ini" as follows:

Remove the ";" symbol in line starting with "To apply a transform" and replace "eespwin32.mst" with the name of the transform you want to apply. CmdLine=TRANSFORMS=eespwin32.mst /i

For ICM Client Application Test Environment (CATE) use:

Note: If you are upgrading to ESP from Entrust's older desktop products, integration and compatibility testing with legacy applications in the CATE environment is strongly recommended.
