*** Note ***
myKEY is the new brand name for the current ICM ID-based certificate. If you have already obtained an ICM ID-based credential through your Local Registration Authority (LRA), you do not need to sign up for a myKEY, nor can you use ORCA to recover your LRA-issued myKEY.

Product Description

Internal Credential Management (ICM) is a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) credential management service for internal government business. ICM issues and manages unique digital credentials (myKEYs) to individuals, applications, and devices.

Users will require a myKEY to enrol and access certain applications, such as Compensation Web Applications (CWA) and Next Generation Remote Access (NGSRA). As more Government of Canada (GC) wide programs are deployed, users will be able to authenticate to these programs using a myKEY.

myKEY also allow users to collaborate more securely both within the GC, as well as with external organizations and facilitate the secure exchange of protected documents.
