Shared Human Resources Services

Shared Human Resources Services (SHRS) provides Human Resources (HR) services to Government of Canada departments and agencies that don't have their own strategic or operational HR functions or require an ad hoc service.

We deliver a full range of operational human resources services to 30 departments and agencies within the Government of Canada.

Under the current service model, departments are able to choose one or the full range of services they require from Shared Human Resources Services.

Services and expertise are provided in the areas of:

• Strategic Human Resources Policy and Planning;
• Resourcing;
• Classification & Organizational Design Services;
• Labour Relations and Wellness;
• Learning and Development;
• Work Force Adjustment;
• Compensation.
