About our Club:Our club's activites include mineralogy and mineral collecting, as well as some lapidary work. Lapidary activities include gemstone work, jewelry making, mounting stones, and cleaning gems and minerals. Our club also organizes day and weekend field trips to mineral collecting sites. All activities are open to anyone with an interest in the earth sciences and in lapidary work. Out of town visitors are welcome.Our club is a member of the Gem & Mineral Federation of Canada. Upcoming Activities:Monthly meetings may feature a guest speaker, or may involve lapidary activities or other demonstrations. Field trips offer an opportunity for members to collect some of the many different rocks and minerals found in the Yukon. For more information about our field trip activities and fall/winter program, please contact us.Newsletter:Chatter Marks is the official bulletin of our club and is published every two months, except July and August.
