Some of our reviews are being quoted on book covers, and this will be compiled in a meaningful index to be published at a later date. The success of the site is due to a growing team of 22 dedicated professional reviewers and editors who strive to bring you fair, honest and positive reviews, not literary critiques. Three new reviewers, published authors in their own right, have been added since May: Faith Leslie and Marie Thorpe, both of South Africa; and Phillip Tomasso III, author of Mind Play (1999) and the forthcoming Tenth House. A reliable search engine is featured on the front entry page to allow a search by keyword within the site. Reviews by Reviewer, a new index, conveniently lists all reviews by reviewer published within the site, regardless of category. Ongoing site development planned for the next few months includes: - An alphabetical Index by Author; - An index of "Reviews quoted on book covers"; - Progress in the Publishers Index kept up-to-date in the Resources Pages; - Further development of the new Award Winners and Rising Stars Sections to include book cover images and excerpts from our reviews; - Advertising rates determined by number of views per page for selected advertisers. New sections on Canadian Authors, South African Authors, UK Authors have been created to highlight works of renowned or lesser known authors. Charlotte Austin, Editor June 9, 2000 |
