AIDS Community Action Program (ACAP)

The Public Health Agency of Canada is pleased to announce the launch of a solicitation for funding under the AIDS Community Action Program (ACAP) for 2012 to 2014.

Deadline for Submissions:  December 30, 2011, 4:00 p.m. EST

The goal of the 2012-2014 AIDS Community Action Program Fund is to support community-based organizations in delivering HIV/AIDS prevention education; creating supportive environments for those infected with, and affected by, HIV/AIDS; and increasing the capacity of people living with HIV/AIDS to manage their condition.

The 2012-2014 AIDS Community Action Program will cover the following four Priority Activity Areas: 

  • Prevention and Support Interventions
  • Public Awareness and Health Promotion
  • Capacity Building
  • Knowledge Translation and Exchange

A Guide for Applicants has been developed for this solicitation process and provides an overview of the Fund, eligibility requirements, further information on each of the priority activity areas and other detailed instructions.
