Notice: Email / Web Fraud Requests

A number of fraudulent emails have been circulating the Internet asking recipients to donate money or to cash cheques or money orders for individuals who say that they work for the Public Health Agency of Canada. These are fraudulent requests aimed at tricking recipients to providing funds to criminals.

The Public Health Agency of Canada does not send emails soliciting financial donations or request that individuals cash cheques for individuals working for the Public Health Agency of Canada. If you receive one of these emails, delete it immediately and do not respond or action it.
