Launch of "Partnership with the Voluntary Sector" Web Site

This site provides new and unique information on the Voluntary Sector.

Health Canada launched the "Partnership with the Voluntary Sector" Web Site on February 2nd, 2001 in celebration of the International Year of Volunteers (IYV) 2001. The Web Site was developed by Health Canada with input and advice from voluntary health organizations.  The site features the Voluntary Sector's contribution to the health of Canadians as outlined in a series of fact sheets on the health benefits of volunteerism and contains links to many other valuable resources.  This Web Site is aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of the vital role the voluntary health sector plays in improving the health and well-being of the people of Canada.  Your comments are greatly welcomed in our continual effort to improve the site, please send questions and feedback to voluntary_sector@hc-sc.gc.ca
