Rebecca Attenborough, RN, MN, is the Co-ordinator of the Reproductive Care Program of Nova Scotia, and Chair of the Canadian Perinatal Programs Coalition. She is actively involved in the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
Russell Kirby, PhD, MS, FACE, is Professor of Maternal and Child Health at the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Public Health. He is a perinatal and pediatric epidemiologist trained in the social sciences, with a doctorate in human geography and MS in preventive medicine-epidemiology. He was elected Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology in 1996.
Nigel Paneth, MD, MPH, is Professor of Epidemiology, Pediatrics and Human Development; and Associate Dean of Research, College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University, where he is founding chair of the Department of Epidemiology. Dr. Paneth is a pediatrician and perinatal and child health epidemiologist with a particular interest in the causes and prevention of childhood neurodevelopmental handicap, especially cerebral palsy.
