First two journals published using the new Client Journal Platform
On April 8, 2009, the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology and The Canadian Entomologist became the first two journals published using the new Client Journal Platform. Designed by NRC Research Press, this Web-based platform provides enhanced e-publishing services for their clients.
100 journals that have led the way in biology and medicine over the last century
In honour of the Special Libraries Association’s (SLA) centennial, their Biomedical & Life Sciences Division (DBIO) recently announced its “DBIO 100” and two NRC Research Press journals made it onto the list.
NRC-CISTI Transformation
NRC was part of the Government of Canada's Strategic Review process, and as a result will be re-aligning some of its resources and programs. As part of this realignment, NRC-CISTI will be undergoing changes over the next year. During this period, CISTI will continue to provide the same quality services it is known for as we assess how the new models will be implemented.
