The Rare Book Room contains a collection of books and serials generally published prior to 1900. Most publications contain information relating to the development of science and technology. Some few items, more recent in date, are unique because they have been signed by the author and dedicated to the library.

None of the items may be borrowed but some are in sufficiently good condition that selective pages may be copied.

Access to the material in the Rare Book Room is available by appointment only.
