eBook Loans are Unique!

This new and unique service provides instant access to tens of thousands of eBooks from major scholarly publishers:

• Avoiding costly purchases or licenses
• Using a robust eBook interface to copy & paste or print pages
• Eliminating the risk of lost or damaged books
• Reducing the cost of interlibrary loan processing to libraries whose clients request books not in their collection

No special equipment is required – just an e-mail address and a web browser!

eBook Loans are Easy!

Every MyiLibrary eBook entry in the NRC-CISTI Catalogue has a "Borrow this eBook" button in the upper right hand corner. A simple click on the "Borrow this eBook" button will take you to the MyiLibrary site. First time users will be asked to register. By following the instructions on each page, you will be able to order books for yourself, or have the URL delivered to another end user!

eBook Loans are Affordable!

An eBook Loan provides access to a book in digital format for four weeks, through a URL received via e-mail. The cost is $US25, and payment is made online using a credit card either directly through the eBook interface for immediate access or through NRC-CISTI Document Delivery, if required. There is no need to return a borrowed eBook, as the link will automatically expire after 30 days.
