Other Birds in the Mississagi Valley

one thing in common: they are nothing like the birds in the other categories. The birds in this section are so unique, in fact, that they each deserve their own category. Some are separated by their tree-climbing abilities, others by their preference for the safety of the ground. Even the smallest, and truly the most unique, is found here: the Hummingbird, which looks like something directly from the tropics. Some of these birds are hunted, and some are watched through intrigued eyes. Others are despised for putting holes in log homes, but whatever the locals' feelings may be about these birds, they definitely make the atmosphere of the Mississagi Valley complete.
