| Collection | This site is meant to provide educators, students and the curious with an overview of Chilliwack's past. The information provided on this site will not replace a trip to the Museum or Archives nor will it substitute for other sources of information about Chilliwack's past. Links are provided to address some of these deficiencies. The pre-gold rush period, before 1858, including the lengthy history of the Sto:lo who have lived in the area for up to 10,000 years, is not addressed but may be accessed through some of the links provided on this site. We hope that the site will grow, that it will become the place on the Internet to learn about Chilliwack's past. Bear with us though and
realize that information will be added as time and funding permits.
