Description
During a weekend,
the participants of the leadership camp learn
the basics to become a group leader.They can use
the skills learned in these camps throughout their
lives, whether in a student council, or in their
school work, with their friends and even athletic
activities. These camps teach valuable skills
transferable to a professional adult life.
The participants, aged 14 to
18, become aware of their own values and their
own capabilities by using tools that push their
limits in order to make them into good leaders.
The teamwork skills learned
include: listening, paraphrasing, positive-thinking,
proactivity, lateral thinking, etc. These tools
are good techniques for decision making and resolving
conflict.
