"Kitty is going on very well, experienced Colonists shake their heads & say "You won't keep her long" - I think she prefers her present variety of occupation to constantly being in the Nursery -"

"Kitty is quite disgusted with her relations! They have only once written to her since she left home. I have a good mind to write James myself about it - It is a great shame. I will write next time if there is no letter for Kitty."
