Eldon George

Eldon George is the most well known collector of fossils in the Parrsboro area. He has been collecting fossils for more than fifty years. In 1984, he found what were then the worlds smallest dinosaur footprints. His fossil shop, located on Whitehall Road, was the first licensed fossil shop in Canada. Examples of Eldon's discoveries can be viewed on Eldon's Page.

Fundy Geological Museum

First opened in December of 1993, the Fundy Geological Museum is a showcase of fossils found on the Fundy Coast and around the world. The displays that most catch the attention of visitors are those of the dinosaurs. These are not, however, the only fossils to be found at the museum. You will also find specimens from the Carboniferous and many other periods. The examples depicted here are provided courtesy of the Fundy Geological Museum.
