Homemade Book Cover

1. Take two pieces of heavy cardboard and cut it so that they are 1 inch larger all the way around the edge of the book you wish to cover.
2. Mark three holes near the edge of one side of both pieces of cardboard. (fig.1)
3. Pass ribbon through these holes and tie in bow or knot. (fig.2)
4. If the inside pages of the book are thin or there are few then more holes can be made and laced with a cord.
5. Decorate you scrapbook cover by painting, making a collage or pasting pictures together in creative ways.
