Matthew Stone

I am a 6th year university student with a diploma in Recreation Administration. I am currently a student at the University of Lethbridge and I plan to graduate this spring with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. I have enjoyed the opportunity to work on this project and with my fellow team members. While working on this project I have had the chance to take an active part in every stage of the project. In doing so I have learned a great deal about the medium of multi-media technology and about the history of southern Alberta. I would like to thank my team members for all their efforts and creativity, without them this project would never have reached the World Wide Web. I would also like to thank the Sir Alexander Galt Museum for its generous support and advice. Without their kind offers of input and space the SchoolNet concept would never have progressed beyond a dinner time conversation.

The team would like to take this space to thank those individuals who have worked incredibly long hours, endured many headaches, and sacrificed a great deal to ensure that our project was a success. First the staff at the Sir Alexander Galt museum for their time in providing us with the resources and materials necessary to complete our task. The City of Lethbridge Archives for the many trips into their collections in search of some of the materials on this site. Jeff Coffman at Robinson’s Photo for advice on our photography sessions. We would like to personally thank Scott Sweetman for guiding us along on our path. Without his efforts you would not be enjoying this site. We would also like to thank Cecile Mcleary, Curator/Co-ordinator of the museum for her confidence in the project. To all of these people we owe a large debt of gratitude and appreciation. THANK-YOU VERY MUCH!!!!
