Carol
Taylor has been in a number of exhibitions over the years including
Dialogue New Brunswick in 1999/2000 curated by Roslyn
Rosenfeld and Paul E. Bourque; Delta in 1997 curated
by Peter Larocque; The Vocation of Storytelling in 1994 with
Shirley Bear, Marlene Creates, Yvon Gallant, and Janice Leonard,
curated by Linda Dornan; The Exquisite Corpse in 1993 curated
by Tom Smart; Kospaney in 1991 curated by Shirley Bear; Small
Works: In Search of Non-Toxic Art Practice in 1990 with Geoff
Ash and Cliff Eyeland; and provincial Marion McCain juried shows
in 1991 and 1989.
In 1998, Taylor
was the court artist in the Marlee Matlin/Michael Dudikoff film
directed by Sidney Furie entitled In Her Defence. Her courtroom
drawings were also a part of the History Channel Turning Point documentary,
Body of Evidence, by Kevin Mathews for Connection Productions
in Moncton about the Burton, N.B. Legere trial. The complete set
of over 200 drawings from the trial is currently at the University
of New Brunswick Law Library, Fredericton.
