The proposed elementary information unit is designed to introduce students in the junior and intermediate grade levels to the federal government and the role of Canada’s Prime Minister. Through a variety of activities, students will have the opportunity to explore how government works from the process of electing our Members of Parliament and the Prime Minister to the ways in which decisions that affect all members of Canadian society are made.
