Practice Reviews
Practice reviews focus on the audit products of the Office of the Auditor General of Canada.
Conducted by the Office’s Practice Review and Internal Audit team, they provide assurance to the Auditor General about how well the Office is carrying out its responsibilities by assessing audit quality and compliance with Office policies and professional standards. The Practice Review and Internal Audit team prepares an annual Practice Review and Internal Audit Plan that establishes priorities, direction and activities for the upcoming year. The reviews cover selected attest and performance audits, special examinations, assessments of performance information in annual reports, and sustainable development monitoring activities.
