Henry Kelsey: On the Trail of Native Friends

After

Henry Kelsey returned to England for the last time in October 1722. He died at his home and was buried on November 2, 1724 in East Greenwich.

Kelsey was little known after he died. It was not until 1920 that his journals were discovered and his discoveries made known.

Anyone for Some Poetry?
Henry Kelsey's journals were discovered in 1920. Historians have found them hard to understand at times because rather than write simple journal entries, he liked to record his experiences in poetry.
