It makes sense that we have spoken a lot about Ginette Anfousse up to now. It is really her work as an author and an illustrator that turned this project into a book. But, before you can borrow this book at the library or buy it at a bookstore, many other people have to get involved.

A book is a story that we like to read and pictures that we enjoy looking at. But, besides that, what is a book? Think about it. Try to think about the things all books have in common, starting with the pages. There is text and sometimes pictures on the pages. The pages are bound together and they have a cover. Books are printed so that there are many that are all the same. That way, many people can read the same book at the same time. If the book were not printed, only a few people would be able to get hold of it. And that would really be a shame! That is why publishers exist. That is also why publishers use printers.
