Dr. Barbara Spronk is a currently a visiting graduate professor at
Athabasca University – Canada’s Open University, a sessional lecturer at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, and a project supervisor in the Masters in Leadership Training program at Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia. Dr. Spronk has been involved in open and distance education in developing countries such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Mozambique and Guyana for many decades. She has published widely in books and journals on distance education across cultures, gender issues, and the impact of globalization on education.
