Dr. Khalil M. Dirani, Assistant Professor of Human Resources and Organization Development (HROD) at the University of Georgia, has been actively working in the field of HRD for over eight years. Khalil was born in Lebanon and had his undergraduate degree at The American University of Beirut (AUB) and his master’s degree in Business Management from The Lebanese American University (LAU). Khalil earned his PhD degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).The focus of his research is to look at relations between learning cultures in organizations and work-related outcomes, such as organizational commitment and job satisfaction in international contexts, especially the Middle East. Khalil currently serves on different professional and academic committees within the Academy of Human Resource Development, the Academy of Management, and the AERA.

Dr. Seung Won Yoon, a native Korean, is a faculty member in the Department of Educational Technology, Research, and Assessment at Northern Illinois University. His teaching and research focuses on applying theories of learning, instruction, and message/information design to e-learning, blended learning, knowledge management, and human performance technology. He serves on the editorial board for the journals of Quarterly Review of Distance Education and the International Journal on E-Learning, and is an active member of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) and the Academy of Human Resource Development.
