DEAL.org, operated by the RCMP's Youth Engagement Section, is a by-youth for-youth web-based program that began in 1997.

DEAL.org aims to help youth realize their full potential by promoting positive relationships with family, friends and members of the community. Our main goal is to provide resources to help youth make healthy, informed lifestyle choices and to encourage youth to think critically about issues and get involved in their communities.

The site consists of four main projects:

  • Knowzone - a digital library where you can find information and facts on a variety of subjects from bullying and cyberbullying to internet safety and drugs.
  • Blog - a place where you can interact with other youth on issues that affect you.
  • Youth Initiatives Database - profiles youth-led crime prevention initiatives across the country
  • Youth Advisory Committee - members of our Youth Advisory Committee interact through our secure online forum, where they discuss issues that matter to them. If you're between the ages 14 and 18 and looking to be part of an awesome group of youth who are ready to speak out, we're looking for candidates in every province and territory!

Parents on DEAL.org

DEAL.org has created a destination specifically for adults, including police. The new site uses a youth perspective and research-based information to educate parents, teachers, police officers and youth workers on how to best support and interact with youth.

In addition to tips for engaging youth on a daily basis, the website also offers a toolbox of presentations, fact sheets and other resources for adults to use. Explore what Parents on DEAL.org has to offer!
