Membership Newsletter Resources About our Club:The Medicine Hat Rock & Lapidary Club was founded on November 15, 1989. Our club holds workshops and training seminars in gem cutting, mineral identification, wire wrapping and silversmithing. Annual Gem Show:Annually, two mini shows are held in the local malls for 3 days each to promote our presence and our club's activities. In addition, and in co-operation with the Southern Alberta Rockhound Association in Lethbridge, an annual major Gem Show is hosted that rotates back and forth between Medicine Hat and Lethbridge. Our last show was held in Medicine Hat on June 11 and 12, 2000.Pebble Pups:We sponsor a very active youth group called "Pebble Pups", which meets monthly on the 3rd Sunday (except June, July and August) at 2:00 pm at the Club House.Membership:Annual dues for club membership are: $23.00 per family, $17.00 per individual, $11.00 youth. Pebble Pups are $3.00 annually. We welcome new members at anytime. To become a member, simply attend any monthly meeting, or contact us.Newsletter:Club membership includes a monthly newsletter, "Nuggets". Nine newsletter issues are published per year.
