About our Club:

The 1120 Rock Club in Kelowna is named after the altitude of Okanagan Lake (1120 feet above sea level). We are interested in many aspects of lapidary, as well as in gems and minerals. Lapidary instruction is offered to new members. The club also has a number of members who are knowledgeable in gold and silversmithing, gemology, mineralogy, gem and stone carving, faceting, and the collecting of fossils. Guests, families and students are welcome to attend our monthly meetings. New members are welcome at anytime.

Our club is a member of the Lapidary Rock & Mineral Society of B.C., the Interior Zone, and the
Gem & Mineral Federation of Canada.
