Nominate an outstanding Early Childhood Educator!

This is a great time to think about recognizing an educator that has made a difference in your child's life. The forms to nominate an exceptional educator for the Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Early Childhood Education will soon be available. On National Child Day:

• Have a family discussion on children's rights.
• Encourage children to take part in activities under Children Fun Zone (link to Children and Youth Zone page of NCD site), make colouring books, play with word puzzles, etc …
• Stay aware of your children’s use of technology, including the use of a webcam, instant messaging, social networking sites, photo exchanges, and cell phones.
