The Beauty of Leaves

The deciduous trees of the Mississagi River Valley are both plentiful and beautiful. In Spring and Summer the various shades of green, ranging from almost white to deep and dark, make for spectacular scenery and easier sightings of more brightly-coloured wildlife. In the fall, the Mississagi River Valley is rich and splendid with the striking colours of autumn. Winter brings a leafless, ghostly look which has a different but equal beauty in contrast with the deep colour of the evergreens.
