Margaret Chantreau
Owner of the "House of All Sorts"
Custodian and Content provider.
Before moving to Victoria to be with her family, Margaret was a real estate agent in Vancouver. In 1973, she purchased the "House of All Sorts" and moved into the small basement suite for a short time. Margaret also lived in the Lower East Flat before finally settling into the bright studio suite located on the second floor. In 1995, she moved out of the "House of All Sorts" and into a condominium in Fairfield. Margaret still manages the house and can frequently be seen tending to the back garden of the "House of All Sorts".
Jen Steele
Project Manager
Contractor, Graphic Design and Layout, Content, Digital Photography, Scanning, Training, and HTML Programming.
Jen is the director of Steele Eye Productions and for the past three years has resided at the "House of All Sorts". Jen is a professional photographer and has been involved in the production of various CDC projects including the Craigdarroch Castle and the Cariboo Gold Rush websites. She created the design and HTML templates for the "Emily Carr and the House of All Sorts" website and assisted with the photography for the site.

Elizabeth Calver
Team Member
Research,Writing, Digital Photography, Scanning, Editing and HTML Programming.
Elizabeth, a university writing student, is thrilled at being able to apply her writing skills to the web. For this project, she edited, wrote content, used a digital camera, applied html and used Photoshop to manipulate photos. This is the Elizabeth's first CDC project and hopes to continue applying her writing skills to websites.
Jason Collier
Team Member
Research,Writing, Digital Photography, Scanning, Editing and HTML Programming.
Jason was responsible for creating the French, Architecture, Map and Teacher's Corner sections of the "Emily Carr and the House of All Sorts" website. His sketch of the "House of All Sorts" was used to create the title page of this site. He is an avid writer, painter and outdoorsman, and looks forward to continuing his studies in January 2001. This is Jason's first CDC website project.
Naomi Harding
Team Member
Research,Writing, Digital Photography, Scanning, Editing and HTML Programming.
Naomi brings to the project a background in archaeology. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropolgy from the University of British Columbia where she majored in archeology. Naomi has participated in archeological excavations in Central America and has traveled extensively adding cultural perspective to her formal education. The "Emily Carr and the House of All Sorts" website project offered her a chance to utilize her research skills to find historical references to link the past to the present. Naomi hopes to use the technical skills gained from the project to develop future web sites with historically significant content. She hopes to be part of an archeological dig in
Belize next summer, this time as a webmaster/archeologist.
