Allanwater is a railway community, located on the Canadian National Railway. Approximately 50 miles west of Armstrong, 75 miles east of Sioux Lookout. Allanwater is a small community with approximately 50 people residng there, originating during the construction of the northern railway line. Allanwater resides in the area of Treaty No.3.
