The Eagle River community is a non-aboriginal community situated along the Canadian Pacific Railway Line. It was initially a site for the Hudson's Bay Company Fur Trade. It has also been used as the location for the local Indian Agency.  Eagle River is approximately 40 kilometers west of Dryden, Ontario.   It resides within the Northwest Angle Treaty of 1873 - Treaty Veteran Listing
