| Morson is a small community which is situated on
Highway 621 within close proximity to the southern shores of Lake of the Woods.
Morson is a non-Aboriginal community which resides within the boundaries of the
Northwest Angle Treaty of 1873 - Treaty No. 3. Morson is located within the general
area of several Indian reserves. These Indian reserves comprise the First Nation
communities of Northwest Angle No. 33, Northwest Angle No. 37, the Ojibways of Onegaming,
Big Island, and Whitefish Bay. |
