Rainy River First Nation is a member of the Northwest Angle Treaty of 1873. Its reserve land resides near Fort Frances.  This band was officially designated as Manitou Rapids Indian Reserve No. 11.  The location of Rainy River First Nation is near Emo, Ontario on Highway 11 near the Canadian-United States border.
