The Whitefish Bay First Nation is part of Treaty No.3 and has officially been a part of
the reserve lands since 1915.
Originally the reserve was economically based on fishing, hunting, gathering, trapping,
and the harvest of wild rice until it became involved in the fur trade with the Hudson's
Bay Company.
Whitefish Bay is located between Kenora and Fort Frances, Ontario.
