General description:

  • In a familiar and personally relevant context, learner can reproduce and organize coherently in writing information received orally or visually. Information is of medium complexity, with some formality and detail.
  • Can take simple notes from short oral presentations or reference materials; makes lists.
  • Can write a short coherent exploratory report /composition on a relevant topic.
  • Can complete formatted texts of medium complexity (visually, length and content-wise).
  • Writes short letters and notes.
  • Linguistic means of expression are relatively simple. Sentences include simple, compound and few complex ones, with up to seven lexical words per clause.
