Social and Cultural Advancements

Section of Irene McCaugherty's "Old Grandstand Chuckwagon Races."

Communities do not only help to provide for peoples basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing. Other things, called cultural institutions develop to help people communicate and get along. Different institutions develop within different communities and these institutions are unique to each community. Lethbridge is a place that has many different types of people and industries, so there are also many different cultural institutions.
