NRC-CISTI's main library, located in Ottawa, Canada is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT, excluding Canadian statutory holidays and between Christmas and New Year's Day.

A variety of on-site services is available on the main floor, including:

• computer access to the NRC-CISTI Online Catalogue and NRC-CISTI Source,
• retrieval of requested documents from stacks every fifteen minutes, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon), and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT,
• public photocopiers operated using a vendacard purchased from the Information Desk,
• loans of books and some conference proceedings,
• access passes to the 4th floor monographs collection
• limited reference services at no charge. Contact us for extended reference services.
• Services available to NRC Alumni.
