Bill Cahan has built a reputation for creating unusual
and memorable annual reports. Notable examples include
a children's book for technologically complex client
Adaptec and a report with two holes drilled through
it to demonstrate a revolutionary cardiac procedure
for biotech client Heartport. Cahan discusses his firm's
unique approach to the design of annual reports and

Cahan is the founder and creative director of Cahan
& Associates, a San Francisco graphic design firm whose
clients include Coca-Cola, PBS, Eastman Kodak and Williams-Sonoma.

and web design.
