Woudhuysen helps clients to master new trends among
consumers, retailers and competitors, so as to implement
major shifts in corporate strategy, marketing, branding
and design. Here he'll make some predictions about the
future of IT and e-commerce, but, more importantly,
he'll explain how he interprets popular culture for
clues to future design and business trends.
Woudhuysen is an international forecasting guru and
professor of innovation. In the 1980's he co-directed
Britain's first major study into the future of e-commerce.
He then moved to the Henley Centre, Britain's best-known
“think tank.” Next James managed worldwide
market intelligence for Philips consumer electronics.
He then worked for the London product designers Seymour
Powell before going independent.
