Below is an example of Emily Carr's neighbourhood. You can make a map of your neighbourhood too. It's fun and easy! Draw the streets around your house on a piece of paper. Then walk around your neighbourhood with your parents or teacher and see where everything is located. When you get back home, draw symbols on your map for all the different places in your neighbourhood, like your school, your friend's house, the local grocery store etc.. You can even draw other important buildings, like the police station or the fire station, it's all up to you.
