Feedback
Team Hermosa The digitization process used by Team Hermosa involved many individuals and assistance from various sources.

By digitizing materials seen on this site, Hermosa and the Fortress of Louisbourg are doing their part to maintain, protect, and preserve our cultural resources for today and for future generations.

During the course of this project, Hermosa worked and interacted with a variety of different specialists at the Fortress. Some of the devoted individuals working together as a team include: archaeologists and historians; artisans, conservationists, and curatorial staff; maintenance, safety, and security staff; guides and interpreters.

All of the departments at Louisbourg work together. As a coordinated and informed team they work together to make your experience the best educational journey possible. Hermosa has aimed to reflect that experience in this website as best as possible.

There were several concerns that Hermosa took into account during the digitization process. Ranging from the careful treatment of materials to the detailed classification and care of said materials in Louisbourg's digital database. While carefully scanning the Louisbourg materials, Hermosa used special equipment, care, and techniques to preserve the quality of the rare documents. Each item that was digitized was also classified and carefully integrated into Louisbourg database.

The Hermosa Cooperative would like to thank the Fortress Of Louisbourg and its staff for their assistance and support. We hope you have enjoyed our site and look forward to hearing your responses.
