You can choose any of four delivery methods to receive documents. Delivery options include:

Ariel

Secure Desktop Delivery

Secure Desktop Delivery (SDD) service allows you to access the documents you order from NRC-CISTI conveniently at your desktop. You will receive a separate email notification message for each filled order.

With SDD one-click there is no need to login. Simply click on the URL in your notification message to view your document. However, if you would like to see a complete list of your recent SDD orders, you will need to login to your SDD page.

Fax

• Available for Direct, Extended and Urgent service
• An alternative fax delivery address can be added on an order, regardless of your registered delivery method

Courier

NRC-CISTI delivers overnight to most major centres and in two days to other sites.

Important information to know

• Ariel delivery provides better quality copies than fax.
• Clients outside Canada and the U.S. should be sure to include the country and city codes in their fax number, using spaces, hyphens or slashes to separate the groups of numbers.
• To ensure reliable delivery pretesting is needed for all Ariel addresses, for international fax numbers and for combined phone and fax machines.
• NRC-CISTI reserves the right, under special circumstances, to convert fax or Ariel orders to courier. All loans are delivered by courier.
