As principal of Chicago-based VSA Partners, Dana Arnett
is known for his ability to tell the stories of brands
such as Harley Davidson and Coca Cola in fresh and engaging
ways. Through the medium of film, he also scrutinizes—and
satirizes—the business of design. Using comedic relief
to expose the often self-important view designers take
of themselves, Dana paves the way for a deeper discussion
of the role of design in society and business. It is
a role that embraces advocacy in the public sector and
a powerful restatement of the ways in which design creates
value.
