Class Presentations

Time:  2-3 Periods (depending on class size)

Expectations:
Students will:

  • present their individual findings to the class using their folders, and any other medium they have developed;
  • listen attentively, participate in class discussion, and submit their folders to the teacher. (It is at the teacher's discretion whether the class will submit their folders at the beginning of the presentations or whether each student is required to submit their material - folder, essay, display - together at the end of their presentation.)

Materials:

  1. Teacher's Presentation and Project Evaluation Sheet

Lesson Plan:

  1. Designate the order of the individual class presentations.
  2. Use Presentation and Project Evaluation Sheet to grade overall progress and completion of the assignment.

Evaluation Opportunities:

  1. Teacher observation of each presentation.
  2. Student behavior and participation.
  3. Collect project materials: folder, essay, display.
