This gorgeous specimen of stibnite was found in Iyo, Island of Shikoku, Japan. The absolute finest specimens come from this locale as well although the deposit has since been worked out. Stibnite is neither a common nor a rare mineral, however specimens of this size and beauty are exceedingly rare. The beautiful crystal habit makes it a "must have" for mineral collectors.
