Lethbridge's Military Tradition

From the city’s very beginning, the military has played an important role in the development of Lethbridge. The early presence of the North West Mounted Police helped to make settlement in southern Alberta possible, and the effort of the city during World War I and World War II helped to transform Lethbridge into a modern city.
