As seen from the southwest corner of the Roedde House, the windows have vertical proportions, which are typical of early and mid 19th century buildings in England. The upper portions of each of the windows have been subdivided into six sections. These refer to the divisions of window panes found in typical Georgian style buildings of that time. Different architectural details of the house have been influenced by many other styles of architecture from around the world. For example, the porch railings look as if the small pagodas and temples of Japan or even China have influenced them. Another example can be seen in the bracketing which could have taken influence from southern German architecture.
